MCC Demons won their first MWBL flag defeating Alfredton 7-6 at Loyola Reserve. Trailing 6-4 heading into the last innings, the bottom of the line up stepped up with some timely hits and aggressive base running to take the lead, then held Alfredton scoreless to win the D Reserve flag.
