We seek a passionate leader who can nurture, develop and teach competitiveness to a willing group across six senior teams.
Key tasks shall include:
- Working with the Manager of Baseball Operations to recruit and build a coaching team to partner with your vision.
- Coaching the coaches – build a culture of growth and development where everybody grows and achieves what they are striving for at the club.
- Match day management of the firsts (playing or non-playing role)
- Plan, lead and drive training sessions at Surrey Park.
- Recruit key players to complement and help develop current senior players.
- Work with the Manager of Baseball Operations as a conduit to the committee.
- Lead selection meetings in line with club policies for creating pathways.
- Create a culture of competitiveness and a spirit of pride across senior teams.
- Lead senior teams through finals as required.
- Play an active part in encouraging the teams to support our junior program, women’s team, and club social events.
With tremendous facilities and support from the MCC, we have an opportunity for an experienced leader who is excited about building a culture that will develop tremendous people who also play baseball.
