The MCC Baseball Section is thrilled to announce Brett Erwin as our Club Pitching Coach for 2024/25 season.

A native of Fairfield, California, Brett is in his 3rd year of professional baseball, currently with the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers in the USPBL. After playing 4 years of Division 1 baseball at UC Davis, mainly as the Friday night starter, Brett took time away as a remote player with the Tread program to increase his velocity and is looking forward to joining our club.

Brett will be responsible for Pitching development across the Juniors, Women’s and Men’s playing groups. We are looking forward to watching Brett and Rhys DeHighden form a dominant battery this summer.

I am very excited to join the Melbourne Baseball Club for this upcoming season and am looking forward to meeting everyone in the community and experiencing Australia. Can’t wait for a great season to develop as a player and help anyone in the club develop as pitchers and even more so, people.
